LILLY is the result of a project where the task was to change materials on an already existing product. In this project the badminton shuttle is redesigned. Inspired by lightweight constructions such as tents and umbrellas, the design replaces the shuttle’s skirt, conventionally made of feathers or plastic, with a nylon fabric skirt fixed in a skeleton of spring steel wire.
